LeAnna Goldey is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 14 years of experience in the medical field. With a background in trauma surgery, orthopedics, craniofacial, and plastic surgery, she honed her skills at leading trauma centers across the nation, including the world-renowned Mayo Clinic.

Originally from Kentucky, LeAnna and her family have lived in seven states, following her husband’s federal career. Despite these moves, her commitment to providing exceptional care and positively impacting her patients’ lives has remained steadfast.

LeAnna is now embarking on an exciting new chapter at Luxe Cosmetic Surgery Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, where she will collaborate once again with Dr. Jody Johnson, the surgeon who helped launch her career in Kentucky 14 years ago. This full-circle moment not only highlights her growth as a provider but also underscores her dedication to advancing the art and science of aesthetics and cosmetic surgery alongside Dr.Johnson. 

During her time in Oklahoma City, LeAnna refined her expertise by training under one of the top aesthetic trainers in the country and working extensively at their med spa. She takes immense pride in the knowledge and skills she developed during this period and continues to train regularly with experts to stay at the forefront of the anesthetic industry’s latest innovations.

LeAnna specializes in medically supervised weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, and advanced facial rejuvenation techniques. Her approach combines empathy, expertise, and a commitment to helping her patients achieve their aesthetic goals and improve their overall health and well-being. She earned her Nurse Practitioner degree from Chamberlain University in Chicago.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, LeAnna is a devoted wife and mother of two. Her family shares a love for sports and enjoys visiting stadiums in every state they’ve lived in, proudly cheering on their beloved University of Kentucky Wildcats. (GO CATS!)

Dr. Jody Johnson is a distinguished graduate of the Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, having completed his general surgery residency training at Michigan State University. Following his residency, he pursued a one-year fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgery at the University of Kentucky and earned board certification through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.

As a committed Fellow of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Dr. Johnson has dedicated himself to lifelong learning. His passion for education extends to hundreds of students at various levels, from college and nursing students to surgical technician and medical students. For seven years, he served as the instructor for the general surgery course at the University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.

With over 20 years of experience in performing complex procedures, including gastrointestinal, cancer, and trauma surgeries, Dr. Johnson's journey led him to transition to cosmetic surgery. Drawn by the desire for a more balanced lifestyle, he found fulfillment in the improved self-confidence and happiness that cosmetic enhancements bring to patients.

Relocating to Louisiana in 2018, Dr. Johnson's personal life is marked by a deep connection with his Cajun wife, Sherie, and their three beautiful teenage daughters. Beyond the demanding nature of his profession, he finds joy in fast cars, flying airplanes, and the art of baking.

In 2021, Dr. Johnson completed a mini-fellowship in Bayonne, New Jersey, at the Pelosi Medical Center, situated across the river from Manhattan. Over the past three years practicing cosmetic surgery in South Louisiana, he has been inspired by the profound impact of cosmetic procedures on patients' lives and their overall satisfaction with outcomes. Driven by a passion to ensure each patient leaves feeling empowered and beautiful, he extends a personal invitation for individuals to engage in a conversation about restoring confidence through cosmetic surgery.
