Patients are advised to refrain from any heavy lifting ( >15 lbs. ) for 4-6 weeks following their procedure. You may resume daily living activities without heaving lifting as tolerated immediately following your procedure.

Yes.  A compression garment is advised for the recovery period of 4-6 weeks.
